Event Type

The Tohickon is the first northeast release of the year. A great step up river, class 3+, with 5 ledge drops approximately 3 feet. March paddling can be cold water, cold air paddling, so participants should have cold weather gear on hand and an 80% roll. We’ll have a guided lap for first-timers to the Toh who are comfortable on Class 3 (like Mongaup). With cold water, this may not be a good step up from class 2.

With a nearly full lake it looks pretty likely.
