From the dam operators:
‘The scheduled 2-unit whitewater release for Saturday, July 5, 2025, will not be occurring due to unexpected mechanical issues with our generating equipment. However, EC Mongaup can offer a one-unit release.

We understand how important these WW releases are to your group’s planning and operations, and we truly apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. 

Our operations teams are currently identifying and addressing the mechanical issues and doing everything they can to ensure the equipment is repaired and operational as quickly and safely as possible. 

In the meantime, if your schedule allows, we would be happy to offer you the option to switch from a one-unit release to a two-unit release on an alternate date, pending availability.

Generally better to try a 1 barrel before stepping up to 2.
