Lehigh River - Hickory Run Group Campground

Event Type

The Lehigh…. Our classic class 2. Beautiful, great beginner run with plenty of play to entertain the more experienced. Where would you rather be on a nice summer day?

Camping at Hickory Run Group .

Comfortable, large sites (with Porta Potties and no showers on site but showers and nice bathrooms a long walk or short drive away at the ‘real’ campground).
If there’s enough interest we could get Friday night and/or Sunday night (no whitewater release Friday or Monday but lots to do in the area). Note in the comments if you’d like to camp Fri or Sunday or contact the coordinator directly.

Food will be burgers and brats and coffee and eggs for breakfast -plenty of filling food. Plan on bringing some stuff to contribute and helping.

Rafting might be added Sunday (depending on Frank C’s schedule or finding someone qualified to captain and take care of the raft).

Adult beverages are technically prohibited so plan on being discreet (like drinking from a mug).
