Our favorite camping for the Lehigh as sites are large and reasonably priced. Best sites are on the west side which is flatter and further from the road noise of the PA turnpike and closer to most of the porta potties.
Entrance is a not well marked dirt road which passes what looks like a maintenance area before getting to the campsites proper..
Showers and ‘real’ bathrooms at the main campground a really long walk or short drive away.
Most sites are large enough that those who prefer to retire early can get away from the campfire’s rowdiness, and those who don’t retire early won’t be woken early.
Adult beverages technically prohibited.
Sites also officially available to registered non-profits (like KCCNY).
We often post this location as it’s much harder to find then the well marked Lehigh put-ins of White Haven, Rockport and Glen Onoko.
