Event Type

Stoneycreek Rendezvous weekend! This is a class 3+ River with lots of play. Camping will be at the Rendezvous site which features a lighted surf wave so you can play well into the night while listening to the bands playing. I have only paddled the river once and it was quite some time ago so I will not be able to tell anyone the lines prior to entering a rapid, however I am quite comfortable running probe so as long as that works for you come out and join me.

The Stonycreek Rendezvous is an annual whitewater festival hosted by the Benscreek Canoe Club in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The event is held at Greenhouse Park, Pennsylvania’s first man-made whitewater park, held over three days in May. During the three days of the event, there is live music, food and gear vendors, a whitewater rodeo, downriver race, daily whitewater releases into the Stonycreek from the Quemahoning Dam.
