Event Type

We’re camping at Mohawk Trail for the Zoar Demofest with AMC.

Mohawk is closer to Zoar Gap where the demos are picked and about the same driving time to the Dryway and it has cell service.
Zoar Outdoor is offering demos and mini-clinics.

And though we plan to do a number of group paddles on Dryway (Class 4), Fife (2), hopefully some laps thru Zoar Gap (3) and surfing at Hurricane aka Hangover Hole, this will be a relatively loosely coordinated trips. Many folks will be paddling with friends or on Zoar Outdoor mini-clinics or with the AMC.

 

Pro tips Cell service is bad at all paddling areas. Plan your meetups ahead and text if calls don’t go thru.
Demos get picked over quickly. On weekends if you want to try something plan on being at Zoar picnic area when they open up (about 8.30 am). Yoga and food if you have to have wait.
