Sunday 2nd annual BBQ sponsored by Eagle Creek the dam/powerhouse operators which will be at the make out take out (which is listed as the meeting place for this event) generally starting after run 1. Be sure to thank them for all that they do. This BBQ is open to all Mongaup paddlers and allies, so stop by even if you aren’t paddling with KCCNY. Last year they had stuff started around 1 and were winding down not much after 3.

Due to mechanical  issues with the turbine it will only be a 1 barrel.

Of course you’ll thank Rebecca, our contact at Eagle Creek who’ll be doing the BBQ. But it’s also your chance to learn more about the turbine issues. Rebecca has offered powerhouse tours at some point so ask about tours if you are interested.
