Event Type

2 barrels of fun. Cool water and probably cool air as well. Frank will be bringing the raft down.

As a lot of you know, the 2nd barrel has had issues but the dam Ops says  ‘They have been testing and watching things, but everything is working fine now.  They are planning on the 2-unit release on Sunday.  I requested that they alert me ASAP (regardless of time) if anything happens that changes so that I can alert you all ASAP. ‘ If we here anything else we’ll email all participants and post here and on kccny and mongaup river beaters facebook.

Rescheduling releases requires the dam operator submit paperwork to FERC (Fed Energy Regulatory commission) so they don’t want to reschedule if they don’t have to.
