Sun, Jul 13  Most events start in the morning. We want folks to register and then allow coordinators to decide if folks have the skill and equipment for the trip. Exact meeting time is usually sent out via email the night before or earlier.

Event Type

Section 2 earliest possible run – time TBD but early. Drop your stuff off at Rockport and meet in lot before the bridge for shuttles. Look for Hobbes (the big orange van). This section is not recommended for true beginners, but newer paddlers who’ve survived Section 1 could step up.

A note on the Lehigh shuttling: Participating in the shuttle is part of the trip. With longer shuttles and most KCCNYers having a shorter drive home from one end or the other, it’s tempting to shirk. Failure to help with the shuttle without permission from the coordinator is grounds for not being allowed to participate in the trip or even removal from KCCNY.
