Lehigh River - Glen Onoko
Lehigh Gorge State Park 1 D and L Trail, Jim Thorpe, PA, 18229

Event Type

The Lehigh is a great river to get started on whitewater. For those that have learned to roll at the pool this is a great opportunity to try some real combat rolls in water that’s clear and not too cold.
Beautiful with lots of places to play. Probably  section 2 12.9 mile run through the deepest part of the beautiful lehigh gorge. Long day on the water endurance needed for the flat sections. Good mix of different rapid that get more challenging as river level rises.

Guessing it will be close to a normal release with the 400 cfs fisheries release plus inflow by the time we launch at Rockport and up a release and a half or so at Lehighton.

Obviously good cold water gear.
