Event Type

Follow up for intro to whitewater – a full day starting early.
Requirements: familiar with basic paddle strokes, braces, edging, and wet exits. If in doubt contact the instructor
Description: focus class on catching eddies. We’ll start at Dunbars on section 3 of the Lehigh where there are three channels with different speeds of flow ideal for learning how to enter and exit eddies followed by a 4 mile paddle down easy class 2 rapids with lots of other opportunities to hone other essential skills.
Support boaters needed 3-4 would be ideal, but more would not be frowned upon.
Water will still be cold, so proper gear is required. You may get turned away if you show up in shorts and a T-shirt.
