Any member of KCCNY is eligible to serve on any committee. All committee actions are subject to review by the Board of Trustees.

Each committee chairperson recruits members to serve on the committee. Committees submit any budget requests for the coming fiscal year to the Treasurer no later than October 1st (or the date agreed upon at the September board meeting) and present a report of committee activities at the Annual Meeting.
Committee chairpersons are appointed by the President subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees.
Executive Committee members serve as liaisons to all committees.
