Housatonic River Bulls Bridge

Event Type

Level dependent descent of Bulls Bridge section of the Housatonic. Strong class III skills and combat roll required. Low level predicted which is good for a first time down, but may still feel like “big water” when compared to much of New England. George’s Wave by the takeout is the best green wave in Connecticut at low levels, so advanced boaters will want a good surf boat.

But with more water coming in creeking may be an option.
