Bookings

Bookings closed. Bookings open up 1 month before event date or when we are confident the event will occur. Contact the coordinator if you need more information. For insurance reasons, bookings for next year's events won't open until Jan. 1.

Event Type

Long, 15-mile day that ends in a 3-mile float out. Remote, with long, wide rapids so class 3-4 depending on level, with a solid roll and the ability to pick a line in big water and blast a hole. (Big step above Mongaup but not quite a Dryway level).

Lots of play. Way more fun than walking over the dam on the West.

Plan is to camp at one of the primitive backcountry sites in the area and paddle both days. Plenty of more luxurious accommodations in the area.

Raft is joining us so they can carry beverages, warm clothes, etc. Raft is full, though reach out to coordinator if you want to be in line if someone backs out.

Food likely potluck with some kccny contribution of Frank and Siobhan’s fine cooking with a small contribution requested.
