Event Type

Stony River, Johnstown, Pennsylvania dam release. Class 3 – 4. Tons of surfing. Camping in group setting. 2 surf waves at the campground so bring your spud boat also. This is a challenging river with remote sections, so interested participants will need to show recent experience levels commensurate with this difficulty. A stepping stone between Tohickon and Dryway in difficulty.

Want to make a longer weekend of it? We plan to head over to the Yough on Monday and possibly Tuesday or even Wednesday.
