Mongaup River

Event Type

Join us a  scheduled 2 barrel whitewater release on the Mongaup. It’s a great chance to surf some waves, catch some eddies. Water will still be cool but warming.

Eagle Creek should be dumping an extra barrels worth of water over the dam, meaning not only will we have about 2 barrels worth of water, but we can run from the dam to the powerhouse as well, a beautiful  stretch.

Note that with continued issues with the Mongaup /Rio dam exact volume or even the release is subject to change. Hopefully the 2nd barrel will be fixed or they’ll divert water extra water over the dam. Check the Mongaup Rio Ongoing Saga post for the latest updates.
