Frank captaining raft on lehigh

Sean Kraft’s raft being used by the club.

KCCNY is noted for our longstanding efforts at conservation and river access.

We also raise and donate funds to organizations such as American Rivers and American Whitewater to help their programs in river conservation and paddler access.

We also raise money to get folks into the sport including training and loaner whitewater gear. Speaking of loaner gear, much of our loaner gear was donated or sold at a discount to the club. We’re always looking for adjustable, edgy river runners, paddles, helmet and PFDs.
If you have gear you’d like to donate*, please contact us.

KCCNY also has a member to club loan program in which members can loan equipment to the club so others can use it and be covered by our liability insurance.

But we need your help more then your money. From admin to training to coordinating please contact us (or just do it;-).

If you’d like to make a cash donation, please send checks to KCCNY Treasurer, 532 Grand Ave. #1, Newburgh, NY 12550. All donations are tax deducible.

*Donated gear may be sold or donated to raise funds for KCCNY.

Speaking of donations, we’d like to thank:

  • Ken Voytek for the ongoing use of his garage for storage.
  • Helen Chase for the donation of an old creeker and a Tslalom.
  • David Deletsky for  a highly discounted Jackson Zen 65, an adjustable edgy river runner.
  • Frank C. for  a highly discounted  Jackson Karma small, an adjustable edgy creeker.
  • Sean Kraft for the many times we’ve borrowed his raft.
