Designed for outdoor enthusiasts and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments, this course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away.
One of the first steps taken in an emergency is to call emergency services so medical professionals can help as soon as possible. But there are some situations where you may be unable to call due to lack of service, or the remoteness of the location will cause a delay in first responders arriving.
First aid can make the difference between life and death, and this is especially true in wilderness situations where you may not have easy access to medical supplies or assistance.
Cost of this 2 day course is $140. Cabins and tent sites are available for rent at the New Weis Center. More info coming soon!
