Event Type

Pride Day on the River is a volunteer-led whitewater paddlesports community dedicated to LGBTQIA2S+ participation and visibility on the river. The 2026 pride day program includes a fifebrook (class II/III) paddle on Saturday and a party at Zoar Saturday evening.

Some KCCNY members also plan on paddling the dryway (class III/IV) on Sunday. Deerfield weekends are often a bit ad hoc as there’s lots to paddle and limited cell service, so sign up for this event if you’d like to run the dryway and we’ll let you know when and where we’re meeting.

Also register for the Saturday fifebrook paddle and camping at kccny.org/events/pride-day-on-the-river/. We have the group site at Savory State Park Friday – Monday.
