Mongaup River

Event Type

Join us a  scheduled 2 barrel whitewater release on the Mongaup. It’s a great chance to surf some waves, catch some eddies. Water will still be cool but warming.

Eagle Creek should be dumping a an extra barrels worth of water over the dam, meaning not only will we have about 2 barrels worth of water, but we can run from the dam to the powerhouse as well, a beautiful  stretch.
In April we ran 750-800 (about 1 1/2 barrels) from dam and 1 barrelish (500ish) should be plenty for this pretty stretch with some play that’s easier then the final mile of the normal run above the Delaware.
