Event Type

Couldn’t make it last week—or just didn’t get enough whitewater? We’re heading back for round two on the Hudson River Gorge! Expect the same mix of big wave trains, splashy fun, and jaw-dropping Adirondack scenery. If you missed it last week, here’s your chance. If you were there, well… you know it’s worth doing again.

WE NEED ENOUGH PADDLERS SIGNED UP FOR BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY FOR THIS TRIP TO HAPPEN. SO RALLY YOUR PADDLING FRIENDS—MORE BOATS = MORE FUN!

Indian River Optional:

Not ready for the bigger rapids on the Indian? No worries—you can still enjoy the Hudson Gorge! There’s an easy option to put in at the confluence of the Indian and Hudson Rivers, skipping the pushy start. From here, the biggest feature is The Narrows, and even that can be made friendly by simply staying to the right side of the river.

Camping at Indian Lake:

With DEC campgrounds closed for the season, we’ll be camping near Indian Lake. Expect a more rustic setup—bring your own water, food, and gear to stay warm on crisp Adirondack nights.
