Join us for two or three days of paddling on the Fife Brook Section of the Deerfield River.
We’ll work on river running skills, so plan for about 3-4 hours on the water each day.
Required skills: previous whitewater kayaking experience on Class II, ability to wet exit and self rescue in Class II whitewater.
Required & Suggested gear: helmet, kayak, paddle, PFD, skirt, long sleeve dry or splash top or drysuit. Morning temps will be in the 40s/50s. Boats must be outfitted with float bags. If you need to borrow equipment please arrange with the KCCNY equipment chair.
Participants will be responsible for their own camping accommodations and meals.
