SUMMARY:Salmon River\, Pulaski NY
DESCRIPTION:Spend the weekend boating in the North Country. The Salmon rive
 r starts off mellow and finishes strong with a couple of back-to-back-to-b
 ack Class II+ rapids. There's lots of opportunities to practice surfing\, 
 and some dynamic eddy lines that will test your edging and eddy catching s
 kills. If there's interest\, there are places to practice rolling in movin
 g water also.\n\nPaddlers should be confident in wet exiting and self reco
 very for this trip.\n\nThe main run is only 4 miles long. The Upper Sectio
 n of the Salmon can be added for a longer run\, or the group can do two la
 ps. Upper Section is not recommended at levels below 1000 cfs.\n\nCamping 
 will be for Friday and Saturday at Brown's Campground.
