DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a weekend of boating in the Adirondacks near Lake George.
  The Sacandaga River is a short\, but fun play run. American Whitewater In
 fo on Sacandaga Stewart's Bridge to Hudson\n\nParticipants need to be able
  to read and run Class II+\, and be competent in self recovery.\n\nDavid H
 . has taken the initiative to reserve a site at Stony Creek Family Campgro
 und. Cost is $20 per night +$10 per night per person. For three days\, thi
 s would be $40-$45 which is a great price in this area. The campground has
  bathrooms\, showers\, a game room\, a camp store\, in ground pool and mor
 e! Campsite is 10-15 away from the river.\n\nIf you prefer to primitive ca
 mp\, please annotate that in the notes. Primitive campsites are 35-50 minu
 tes away from the river.\n\nFor those camping\, brats\, bread and peppers/
 onions will be provided for dinner on Saturday. All other meals/snacks wil
 l be on your own.\n\n**The state parks nearby have no availability for cam
 ping.**\n\nRafting\, tubing\, zip-lining and other activities are availabl
 e in the area if anyone wants to bring family members and friends.
