SUMMARY:Mongaup (II+)and Delaware River (II+) Trip and BBQ
DESCRIPTION:Come on out for a full Mongaup 2 barrel and enjoy the technical
  lines\, waves\, fun 1-mile continuous class 2 whitewater\, and beautiful 
 Catskill region nature. This is a step up from the Lehigh in difficulty\, 
 and a nice 3-mile river allows for multiple laps. It's a fun river.\n\nWe'
 ll do a BBQ afterward and have a run on the Delaware as well - most likely
  Pond Eddy to Sparrowbush and working on some whitewater stuff like eddy t
 urns. This is suitable for recreational boats such as canoes and kayaks wi
 thout skirts but with floatation. Per KCCNY policy\, helmets are required 
 on all boats with sealed cockpits.\nTrip contains Staircase Rapids which h
 as a number of strong eddies along the right side where whitewater maneuve
 ring can be practiced...but these can easily be avoided as well.\n\nKCCNY 
 will supply a carnivorous main course.\n\nPlease bring an appetizer\, sala
 d\, or dessert to share and your beverage of choice.\n\nBBQ will be spearh

  at 10 and 2nd at 11.
