Long, 15-mile day that ends in a 3-mile float out. Remote, with long, wide rapids and high levels expected, so class 4, with a near bomb-proof roll and the ability to pick a line in big water and blast a hole. (Dryway level).
Last release of the season. Cool water and weather likely so thicker wetsuits or drysuits only.
If you’re not confident of your abilities this is not the trip for you. Join us on this beautiful river next summer when it’s warmer and more crowded.
Plan is to camp at one of the primitive back-country sites in the area and paddle both days. If the group wants it could camp mid trip back-country along the river, but we’ll need a consensus. Less paddling but beautiful remote campsites.
Plenty of more luxurious accommodations in the area.
